THIS Generation...

Challenges are my niche! I am participating in several of them online now. It seems to be the only way that I can get LOs completed. I am the world's worst about making decisions about scrapbooking...even though I LOVE to do it, I find it difficult sometimes to decide on the patterned paper, the embellies, or sometimes even which photo I want to use. When I participate in challenges.....it gives me deadlines and also gives me the direction for my LOs. This is one that I completed last night for a challenge on Bright Ideas Scrapbook Co. Since it's October and breast cancer awareness month, we had to make a LO using the color pink, about a female and use a 3-D flower.

Journaling: When I look at the four of you, it's easy to see there is a connection. No, you don't look alike or even resemble one another, but the bond is there. You are the great-granddaughters of Reggie Boy and Mammaw (Reg and Fannie Jo Jones). You are the female descendants for this generation. Even though they both passed away before y'all were born, I know they would be proud of each of you for each of you are wonderful young ladies and have a lot to give to the world. I hope you'll always be proud of who you are and the family you descend from. Holly, Carley, Nicole, and Olivia Kate. Jonesboro Hodge Homecoming. October 13, 2006.
